Sunday was a beautiful day and we decided to visit the zoo in Atlanta. We were planning on going to a afternoon Braves baseball game, but we didn't have enough time. The zoo ended up being the perfect spot for Courtney and she especially loved the giraffes. We can't wait until we come back in September to visit the zoo again, take Courtney to her first Braves games, and go to the Georgia Aquarium.
The lion didn't really do much, but he still was amazing to look at.
This panda bear was my favorite. Her name was Lun Lun and she gave birth to a cub back in September 2006 named Mei Lan. Apparently it's very rare for panda bear's to have a cub while in captivity.
This mama gorilla was so funny with her baby. The mama gorilla had twins and apparently this was her "problem child". The mama would let the other one run around but she constantly had a hold of this baby by its foot as you can see in the photo.
